Disc Filters utilize advanced Polymeric Depth Filtration Technology, designed to offer high dirt holding capacity, effective self-cleaning, and consistent filtration results. These filters employ thin, color-coded polymeric discs that are diagonally grooved on both sides to a specific micron size, ensuring precision filtration for a variety of applications.
The filtration process involves stacking and compressing these grooved discs onto a specially designed spine, with each disc’s top groove aligned opposite the groove below it. This unique design creates a series of filtration channels, effectively capturing solids as water passes through.
The complete disc stack is housed in a corrosion-resistant, pressure-resistant enclosure, making it suitable for a wide range of challenging environments.
